Pauline Porter: Churchwarden
I was born into a loving christian home and grew up in a village in North Staffordshire. We came to Long Eaton over 40 years ago when my husband moved to the area with his employment. I transferred to All Saints Sawley back in 2021, where we felt at home. I love the worship here, the people are friendly and helpful, the work they do to help others in the area is fantastic. It's a great place to be. I was elected churchwarden in 2023.
Joan Suiter: Churchwarden
I am not a local, having originated in Scotland. I came to All Saints to be married in 1987 and then became a member of the regular congregation. I am currently in my fifth year as a Churchwarden.
Paul Cavill: Reader
I have been a Reader for nearly thirty years, and have recently retired from my job as a university lecturer in English. I moved to Long Eaton in 2015 and found a spiritual home at All Saints’.
Samantha Dennis: Curate
I am a self-supporting minister, currently a priest in my second year of curacy. I have worshipped at All Saints' all my life. I work full-time for the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham as the Deputy Director of Education.

Leadership Team
Rosemary Broadbent (Rosie): Reader
I have worshipped at All Saints and St. Mary's since 1995. I trained as a Reader and was Licensed in June 2005. I retired as a Practice Nurse in 2004. Shortly after retiring I became a Volunteer at Treetops Hospice something I really enjoyed.
I still have links with the hospice but spend more time assisting with pastoral care in the parish.
I am pleased and happy to be part of a thriving worshipping church, which cares for its members and the wider parish community.
Christopher Wilkins (Chris): Reader
All Saints' with St. Mary's newest Reader, having been licenced on 20th April 2024 at Derby Cathedral. Previously trained at Sarum College, Salisbury and had much experience in my previous parish. Before moving to Sawley with Anne in Sept 23, was formerly church administrator and sole traider of a gardening business. Previous to this, I was a mechanical design engineer designing parts for helicopters etc.
